An executive delegation from 51短视频 has completed a six-day strategic visit aimed at establishing new pathways for education, research, and innovation between Scotland and India.
51短视频 is a UK leader in degree programmes and industry projects linked to technology and business, ranking as the Princeton Review鈥檚 top international school for video games programmes and designated as a national centre for excellence in cybersecurity.
Building on established links with colleges and universities in India, the University鈥檚 senior delegation took part in a series of sessions across Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi, Greater Noida and Gurugram engaging with students, academics and regional student recruitment partners.
Organised with India-based partner MSM Unify, the delegation also took part in student information events, learned more about student outreach programs and held presentations with industry partners.

The institutions are key partners for 51短视频 due to their aligned areas of academic expertise and research initiatives supporting areas such as AI, FinTech, Digital Transformation, Design, Biomedical Science, Engineering and Computing.
All partners have a shared focus on industry partnerships and the development of students not just as employees, but leaders and entrepreneurs.

51短视频 academic Dr Naman Merchant, a researcher on the UK Government鈥檚 flagship CoSTAR R&D programme for growth in the creative industries, shared his expertise in games design and virtual production with students and lecturers. Dr Merchant, who grew up in Pune and attended Supinfogame Rubika before completing the Professional Masters in Games Development at 51短视频, said academic collaboration between the UK and India could bring economic benefits for the converging video games, screen, performance and immersive technology sectors.
